The Best Time for a Visit
The best time to visit is before sunset. You can enjoy the sunset over the Huangpu River and stay until late evening to gaze at Shanghai's spectacular skyline.
Getting There:
Metro Line 2 or Line 10 to East Nanjing Road Station and then walk for about 10 minutes to the Bund.
The Bund usually refers to the buildings and wharves on this section of the road, as well as some adjacent areas. From the 1860s to the 1930s, it was the rich and powerful center of the foreign establishment in Shanghai, operating as a legally protected treaty port.
