* Subway Line 1, Jongno 5(o)-ga Station, Exit 7 (15 m on foot), Exit 9 or 8 which will lead you right to the entrance of the market.

* Subway Lines 2 & 5, Euljiro 4(sa)-ga Station, Exit 4 (150 m on foot)

 

The market is one of the oldest and largest traditional market with authentic local food established in 1905.


Bindaetteok – mung bean pancake

Tteokbokki – rice rolls

These sticky dense rice rolls are stewed in a thick red chili sauce




Soondae (Sundae) – blood sausage

The Korean version of blood sausage is remarkably juicy and moist, partly because it contains a mixture of blood and a good amount of sticky and soft mung bean noodles or sticky rice.
