Small Shinto shrine, the site of a tragic romantic legend, where couples can wish for lasting love have been built around over 1,300 years ago.
The Shrine is believed to be a good place to pray for success in business, safe journeys, or a good marriage, and as result it receives a large number of worshippers every day, particularly local shopkeepers and women. A flea market is held here on the first Friday of every month, and the Shrine is famous for its annual festival held in July each year.

Umeda Station 梅田駅 Stop ID: M16 / Higashi-Umeda Station 東梅田駅 Stop ID: T20, use the south exit and walk towards Whity Umeda East Mall (an underground shopping street). Go up the stairs and use exit 7-65 and you will be right in front of Ohatsu Tenjin Shopping Street.
