Malaysia Travel Perak Ipoh - Ipoh Railway Station (2022 0809)

Its Mughal style of architecture and design has allowed it to be crowned as the Taj Mahal of Ipoh, Constructed by Arthur Benison, the Ipoh Railway Station was opened to the public in 1935 and has been reconstructed in 2008 as part of KTMB’s double tracking and electrification project. The building was initially supposed to serve as a hospital; however, it was converted to a railway station later on. There is a cenotaph in the Ipoh Station Square in front of the building where visitors can pay their respects to martyrs of the war.
