Hakone Tozan Train 箱根登山電車
Traversing the mountainside, Hakone Tozan Railway is one of Japan's few mountain railways. Passengers can enjoy Spectacular mountain scenery of every season through the window and be wowed as the train climbs steep slopes.
Gora Station 強羅駅
A terminal railway station on the Hakone Tozan Line as well as the Hakone Tozan Cable Car, there is a Swiss chalet-like building where you can buy souvenirs, snacks, use the restrooms.
Gora also considered the best of the area's hot springs because of all the different spring waters available, each with different colors and effects and Gora Park - This French-style park features fountains, rose gardens, three greenhouses, and a teahouse.
Hakone Tozan Cable Car 箱根登山ケーブルカー
The cable car connecting Gora and Sounzan climbs an altitude of 209 meters Opened in 1922, the line was rebuilt in 1995.
Hakone Ropeway 箱根ロ-プウエイ (Sounzan Station and Owakudani Station)
Between Sounzan Station and Owakudani Station, there is a place where the ropeway passes over the valley around 130m from the ground, offering stunning scenery of the impressive valley floor below.

Observation Platform
The observation platform offers breathtaking views of ‘Owakudani’, Hakone’s most famous tourist spot. Desolate mountainside covered by plumes of smoke produce a distinct scene so fitting the area’s former name of Hell Valley.
Owakudani Valley (大涌谷)
Is the area around a crater created during the last eruption of Mount Hakone some 3000 years ago. Today, much of the area is an active volcanic zone where sulfurous fumes, hot springs and hot rivers can be experienced. Additionally, Owakudani has good views of Mount Fuji on clear days.
