A historically traditional Malay village in Malacca City Centre. It is named after a British land revenue collector during the British Malaya, Frederick Joseph Morten. Morten Village is like a living museum being an old traditional Malay village with houses dating as far back to the 1920s, Currently, it houses more than 100 traditional Malay houses.
