Malay College Kuala Kangsar (QWFP+PW Kuala Kangsar, Perak, Malaysia) -  which was established in 1905 as a boarding school to educate the sons of the Malay elite. The school is sometimes referred to as the Eton of the East. There are a number of college buildings on both sides of the street arranged around football and rugby pitches.

Pavilion Tower Kuala Kangsar (QWFQ+QJ Kuala Kangsar, Perak, Malaysia) - When I visit it's under renovation so I could not enter the building, it's Unique tower structure with local architectural elements it was built as a resting place for the officials in the past which dates from around 1920.

Coronation Memorial Clock Tower (2024 0606)

Unveiled in September 1939 to commemorate the coronation of King George VI was designed by Charles Geoffry Boutcher is 25 feet tall. It was built in the Arte Deco style with a granite, plaster finish, and topped with a golden dome.

Dataran Putra, Kuala Kangsar (QWCR+JR Kuala Kangsar, Perak, Malaysia) - The square consist of arches, a fountains, the tourist information center and a dilapidated red telephone box, the roundabout hosting the Clock Tower (a commemorate for the coronation of King George VI was erected in 1939 (which took place in 1937), the old Post Office which dates from the 1930s. the Malaysian Airforce Mcdonnell Douglas A-4 Skyhawk jet fighter, This plane was presented to the Sultan of Perak in 2004 and put on display here.

Church of the Resurrection - Temporarily closed (QWCQ+WQ Kuala Kangsar, Perak, Malaysia) - This dainty, red-roofed Anglican church was consecrated in 1908.

Hospital Pertama Kuala Kangsar (QWFQ+5J Kuala Kangsar, Perak, Malaysia) - On the corner of the school playing fields is a small building which was  Kuala Kangsar Kangsar’s first hospital, built in 1890. The building was transferred to Clifford School in 1930.


SMK Clifford (QWCQ+P3 Kuala Kangsar, Perak, Malaysia) - Clifford School (1897), one of the oldest in Malaysia, and older than its near neighbour Malay College. The main building is currently undergoing renovation, including a new roof which makes it look younger than it is. A sign outside boasts the school motto ‘The Ship Is More Than the Crew’. Better not tell the crew!
