Wenchang Confucius Temple was first built during the Qingli period of the Northern Song Dynasty. Once you enter the gate, the architecture shows the vicissitudes and history of the Wenchang Confucius Temple. The Dacheng Hall houses the statue of Confucius, Confucius's maxims, and a forest of steles with calligraphy by famous calligraphers.
