Overview of the scenic area 景区概况:

Hongyadong, formerly known as Hongyamen, is one of the ancient city gates of Chongqing. It is located in the riverside area where the Yangtze River and Jialing River meet. It is a tourist area with sightseeing, leisure and vacation functions. It has been rated as a national AAAA-level tourist attraction for its traditional Bayu architecture and folk customs.

The main attractions are composed of stilt houses, antique commercial streets and other landscapes. The unique "three-dimensional aerial pedestrian street" creates a mountain city feature where you can walk out of the 11th and 1st floors on the road. It is a good place to visit the stilt houses, watch the greenery of Hongya, stroll through the old streets of the mountain city, appreciate the Bayu culture, watch the confluence of the two rivers, and taste world cuisine.

洪崖洞原名洪崖门，是古重庆城门之一，地处长江、嘉陵江两江交汇的滨江地带，是兼具观光旅游、休闲度假等功能的旅游区。凭借巴渝传统建筑和民俗风貌特色而被评为国家AAAA级旅游景区。主要景点由吊脚楼、仿古商业街等景观组成，别具一格的“立体式空中步行街”打造出从11楼和1楼走出去都是马路的山城特色，是一个游吊脚楼群、观洪崖滴翠、逛山城老街、赏巴渝文化、看两江汇流、品天下美食的好去处。
