The origin of Chongqing Liberation Monument can be traced back to the victory of the Anti-Japanese War. It was built to commemorate the victory of the Anti-Japanese War. It is an octagonal column with a helmet-shaped reinforced concrete structure, with a total height of 27.5 meters. There is a spiral staircase leading to the top of the monument, and a self-ringing clock is installed on the top. The Liberation Monument is not only a landmark building in Chongqing, but also the only monument in China to commemorate the victory of the Chinese nation's Anti-Japanese War.
