Founded during the Xianping era of Emperor Zhenzong of the
Song Dynasty, the ancient town is built against the mountain, forming a unique
tree-branch-like street layout. Major attractions include Baolun Temple (legend
has it that Emperor Jianwen once took refuge here, also known as Longyin
Temple), Hanlin Academy (a private school in the Qing Dynasty, witnessing the
"three scholars from one family"), Baoshan Palace (a Taoist temple,
now housing a tea culture experience hall and Ding Zhaozhong Exhibition Hall),
and Zhong Family Courtyard, etc.
始建于宋真宗咸平年间,古镇依山而建，形成独特的树枝状街巷格局。主要景点包括宝轮寺（传说中建文帝曾在此避难，又称龙隐寺）、翰林院（清代私塾，见证“一门三举子”）、宝善宫（道观，现设茶文化体验馆及丁肇中展览馆）以及钟家院等。
