Located in Hekou Village, Kuandian Manchu Autonomous County,
Dandong City, Liaoning Province, this site is an iconic landmark on the
China-North Korea border and is integrated with the Shanghekou Border Gate.
Standing on the banks of the Yalu River—adjacent to a railway bridge leading to
Chongsui County in North Korea—it is a popular destination for tourists to
learn about the history of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea and
to enjoy the border scenery.
