The history of the area dates back to 1906, when General
Zhao Erxun designated a commercial zone outside Huaiyuan Gate. In 2023, the
Shenyang municipal government included the district in its renovation plan for
backstreets and alleys; adhering to the principle of "restoring the old to
its original state," the area underwent a "micro-renewal" to
become a coffee-themed cultural district. Transformed from a century-old street
and home to nearly 200 coffee shops, it has become a popular destination for
locals and tourists alike.
街区所在区域历史可追溯至1906年赵尔巽将军在怀远门外划定商埠地, 2023年沈阳市政府将其纳入背街小巷改造计划，遵循“修旧如旧”原则进行微更新成一个咖啡文化街区，由百年老街改造而成，汇聚了近 200 家咖啡馆，是当地热门的文旅打卡地 。
